Vendor Registration Information

We are pleased to announce that vendors of all types are welcome at this year's event and will NOT be charged a booth fee!  Spread the word!

Rules, Regulations & Definitions

  • Food Vendors:  Food Permits are required from the Clay County Health Department, 800 Haines Drive, Liberty, MO 64068, (Phone: 816-595- 4350). Your food permit must be displayed.

  • All booth areas are 15’ x 15’ (All booths must be manned at all times.

  • The contest committee will determine assignment of the booths.

           Criteria considered will be:

1) order of receipt of application;

2) booths that do not duplicate the same types of food;

3) variety of foods offered.

  • There is NO SMOKING in any food or tent booth. Open flames or smoking materials are not permitted. This policy is in accordance with the City Ordinance 1109.4.1. Violation of this policy will result in being expelled from the event immediately and not being permitted booth space in the future.

  • Each vendor is responsible for trash from his booth. Please bring trash bags with you.

Electricity

  • Electricity for booths may be provided for $20.00. Please contact Jeff Richardson at jeff@lonestarfabcon.com for further information

  • Vendors needing electricity may need to provide a heavy-duty, three-conductor grounded extension cord to reach outlets.

  • Power strips and small appliances are not allowed.

  • Vendors who continuously throw their appointed breaker will be asked to disconnect all electrical plug-ins.

Booth Assembly/Tear Down

  • Vendors will be permitted to begin booth assembly at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020. All booths must be open by 5:00 p.m. Friday evening.

  • Tear down must be accomplished before midnight, Friday, August 28th or after 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29.

  • All transactions must be completed no later than 10:30 p.m. Friday evening.

Security

  • Security will be available from Friday at 3:30 p.m. until event conclusion on Saturday.

  • It is recommended that any items of value be removed from the event grounds Friday evening.

Vehicles

  • There will be no driving or moving of any booth holders' vehicles on event grounds after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23rd.

  • There will be no booth holder’s vehicles parked inside barricades at any time during the operating hours of the event.

The St. James Do-Dad’s Committee is authorized and empowered by St. James Catholic Church of Liberty, Missouri to organize and manage the Holy Smoke BBQ Contest and to promulgate and enforce rules and regulations for the conduct of the event. Decisions made by the committee are non-negotiable. The committee reserves the right to make changes to booth locations - no booth space is guaranteed. The event is not responsible for space for extra product, supplies, etc. The Committee reserves the right to revoke a booth license at any time, not refund the fees and forfeit all future right of entry. Neither the committee nor St. James Catholic Church is responsible for loss due to damage or theft.
